Sockets and plugs

Type

HARDO HSP1P device kind. Wall = surface-mounted socket (W-SCT). Coupler = in-line coupler socket (C-SCT, 16 A and 32 A only). Plug = plug (PLG). A matching socket and plug share current, voltage, poles and PE clock.

Rated current

Rated current of the HSP1P device: 16, 32, 63 or 125 A. Coupler sockets exist only in 16 A and 32 A. 16 A and 32 A switch by rotating the plug; 63 A and 125 A use a rotary knob on the socket cover.

Rated voltage

Rated voltage and IEC colour on the housing. The colour swatch is the IEC code for that range (violet 20–25 V, white 36–50 V, yellow 110–130 V AC, dark blue 50–250 V DC, blue 200–250 V AC, red 380–415 V AC, grey 480–500 V AC, black 600–690 V AC).

Poles

Number of poles. 2P has no PE pin. 3P is 2P+PE or 1P+N+PE. 4P is 3P+PE. 5P is 3P+N+PE. Auxiliary NO on 125 A is a separate filter, not an extra pole family.

PE pin position

Earth-pin clock position from the HSP1P catalogue (IEC 60309). A socket and plug of the same specification share the same clock. 2P has no PE (n/a). Do not use the Excel PE column — it is shifted versus the catalogue.

Cable diameter

Outer diameter of the cable in millimetres. The list then shows only those products whose cable-gland min–max range covers that value.
